confidence. This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges,
and refunds are handled when you purchase products through our marketplace.
1. General Policy
- This
policy applies to all purchases made through Arabayaat.com unless
otherwise stated by the Seller.
- Arabayaat.com
operates as an online marketplace connecting buyers with independent
sellers. Each seller is responsible for fulfilling, shipping, and
accepting returns for their products, unless otherwise managed by
Arabayaat.com.
- Returns
and refunds comply with Jordanian Consumer Protection Law (No. 7
of 2017).
- Some
items may have special conditions or may not be eligible for return (see
Section 6).
2. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return if:
- The
product is defective, damaged, or not as described/listed.
- The
product is incorrect or incomplete compared to your
order.
- You
received a product that is expired or unfit for use.
- Returned
items must be in their original packaging, unused, and accompanied by
proof of purchase, unless the product is defective or damaged.
3. Return Period
- You
may initiate a return request within 3 days of receiving the
product.
- For
electronics, appliances, and durable goods, returns must be initiated
within 1 Week if a defect is detected.
4. Refunds
- Refunds
will be issued once the Seller or logistics partner confirms the returned
item meets the conditions above.
- Refunds
are processed using the original payment method (credit/debit
card, wallet, or bank transfer).
- If
you paid by Cash on Delivery, refunds will be issued via bank
transfer or store credit.
- Once
approved, the Buyer will receive confirmation by email or SMS. Refunds
typically take 7–14 business days depending on the payment method and
financial institution.
5. Exchanges
- Where
possible, Buyers may choose to exchange the product instead
of requesting a refund.
- Exchanges
depend on Seller stock availability.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless defective or
damaged:
- Perishable
goods (food, beverages, flowers, etc.)
- Personal
care items (cosmetics, perfumes, hygiene products) if opened or used
- Intimate
or sanitary products (e.g., underwear, swimwear)
- Digital
products, gift cards, and downloadable software
- Customized
or personalized items made to order
7. Shipping & Return Costs
- If
the return is due to defect, damage, or Seller error,
Arabayaat.com or the Seller will cover return shipping costs.
- If
the return is due to Buyer’s preference (e.g., change of
mind), the Buyer is responsible for return shipping fees.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Sellers
are required to cooperate in good faith with all return and refund
requests in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.
- If a
Buyer and Seller cannot resolve a return issue, Arabayaat.com will review
the case and make a final decision in line with our
policies and Jordanian law.
- Unresolved
disputes may be escalated to the Consumer Protection Directorate under
the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply.
9. Change of Mind
Returns for reasons unrelated to product defect or seller
error (e.g., Buyer changed their mind) are accepted only if the Seller’s
individual policy allows it.
